About

Dylan Page

I’m Dylan Page. I’ve spent the last decade and change building and running infrastructure: first as a sysadmin who didn’t want to administrate more servers in my free time, then as a platform engineer, and these days as Engineering Manager for Core Infrastructure at Lambda, where my team builds the internal Kubernetes platform underneath a GPU cloud.

Before Lambda I was a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Autodesk Construction Cloud, and before that I ran infrastructure at PlanGrid and DigitalOcean. Kubernetes, networking, storage, observability, and compliance at scale are home turf.

Outside the day job, most of my energy goes to open source and the cloud native community. I’m a maintainer of Atlantis, the Terraform pull request automation tool. In the CNCF I co-chair TAG Infrastructure and lead its Infrastructure Lifecycle initiative, and I chair Kubernetes SIG K8s Infra. The work is unglamorous and quietly important, which is exactly the kind of thing worth investing in. You’ll find my conference talks on the talks page, with recordings collected on OpenProfile.

My roots are in the Minecraft community, where I cut my teeth writing tooling like NotEnoughMods and running services for Technic Solder. That’s where I learned that keeping things running for people you’ll never meet is its own kind of fun, and I never really stopped.

I live in Michigan with my family. Everything here is my own opinion, not my employer’s.
